Research Short-Stay at REMIT – Universidade Portucalense

From 9 to 21 September 2026, Universidade Portucalense (UPT) / REMIT – Research on Economics, Management and Information Technologies welcomed Anastasia-Cristiana Dumitru, PhD student in Economics at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, for a research short-stay in Porto.

Her doctoral research focuses on the influence of work climate on a company’s economic performance, examining how organisational and workplace factors may contribute to differences in economic outcomes.

During the research stay, activities focused on the analysis of work climate practices at the host organisation, the identification of organisational factors potentially influencing economic performance, and the assessment of their relationship with company results. The stay also provided an opportunity for academic exchange and discussion of research approaches and perspectives relevant to her doctoral research.

REMIT is pleased to contribute to the development of international academic cooperation and to support research mobility among doctoral students and researchers.
