SERV_ALL Seminar – “Service Quality in Allergen Management in Tourism and Hospitality”

The SERV_ALL Seminar – “Service Quality in Allergen Management in Tourism and Hospitality” took place on October 24 as part of the ERASMUS+ ETDTFA (Education and Training Development for Tourism and Food Allergy) project, currently under development at REMIT.

The event was organized by undergraduate students from the Tourism and Hospitality Management programs, under the guidance of Professors Joana Quintela and Medéia Araújo, who also served as the seminar speakers.

This initiative aimed to promote an educational and practical approach, raising awareness about the importance of continuous training and the implementation of rigorous standards for serving customers with food allergies. It sought to build trust and safety in the tourism and hospitality sectors by sharing some of the project’s key outputs.
