REMIT Participates in Discussion on the Challenges of Female Leadership

On 30 September 2026, Universidade Portucalense hosted the Summit “Strategy, Influence and Female Leadership”, an event featuring the participation of REMIT members and dedicated to exploring the role of marketing, influence and professional networks in shaping career paths and advancing female leadership.

Ricardo Cayolla was the event’s promoter, while Sofia Gomes moderated the discussion, both researchers at REMIT.

The conference brought together Lurdes Gramaxo, from Bynd Venture Capital, and Inês Drumond, from CMVM (Portuguese Securities Market Commission), for a discussion on the challenges, strategic decisions and lessons learned throughout women’s leadership journeys.

Drawing on the speakers’ professional experiences, the discussion provided an opportunity to reflect on the role of strategy, marketing and networks of influence in decision-making, relationship-building and the advancement of women in leadership positions.
