Makhabbat Ramazanova, a researcher at REMIT, took part in the Final Conference of the Erasmus+ ECOViP project and in the National Workshop on Tourism Curriculum Reform, held at the University of San Carlos in Cebu, Philippines.

The event brought together researchers, faculty members, students, and stakeholders from Vietnam, the Philippines, Portugal, Spain, and Austria, fostering discussions on ecotourism, innovation, curriculum updates, and sustainability in tourism.

During the event, the online course “Introduction to Entrepreneurship”, developed within the framework of the project and implemented at six partner universities in Vietnam and the Philippines, was presented. This course can be integrated into academic curricula to help develop skills in entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism.

The programme also included a participatory workshop using the World Café methodology, as well as a study visit to the Bojo Aloguinsan Ecotourism Association, an inspiring example of community-based ecotourism.

An important moment of international cooperation and reflection on the future of education in sustainable tourism.
