Best Paper Awards

REMIT’s researchers Medéia Veríssimo and Marília Durão, received two “Best Paper Awards” for their works ‘Immigrant Workforce in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry’ and ‘Media Narratives of Immigration in Portugal’s Tourism and Hospitality Sectors’, in the theme Sustainable Tourism in the context of global population changes, submited to the DSOTT 25 Conference: ‘Diversity & Sustainability – Opportunities and Threats in Tourism’, held at Faculty of Arts & Humanities of the University of Coimbra, Portugal, between the 4th and 6th of June 2025.
